5th Grade

Don’t forget you have Garageband on your ipad, which is a very powerful music making machine. Try to stay away from “loops” so you can create your own material.

During this crazy time, keep your musical brain going by practicing these songs. Don’t forget to warm your voice up!

Vocal Warm Up!

No One Is Alone

No one here to guide you now you’re on your own
Only me beside you still your not alone
No one is alone truly no one is alone

Sometimes people leave you half-way through the wood
Others may deceive you, you decide what’s good
You decide alone but no one is alone

People make mistakes, father’s, mother’s
People make mistakes holding to their own
Thinking they’re alone

Honor their mistakes
Everybody makes
One another’s terrible mistakes

Witches can be right, giants can be good
You decide what’s right, you decide whats good
Just remember

Someone is on your side, someone else is not
Well we’re seeing our side maybe we forgot
They are not alone, no one is alone

Hard to see the light now just don’t let it go
Things will come out right now, we can make it so

Someone is on your side, no one is alone

Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing

Everybody’s got a thing
But some don’t know how to handle it
Always reachin’ out in vain
Just taking the things not worth havin’

Don’t you worry ’bout a thing
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing, Mama
‘Cause I’ll be standing on the side when you check it out

They say your style of life’s a drag
That you must go other places
Just don’t you feel too bad
When you get fooled by smiling faces

Don’t you worry ’bout a thing
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing, Mama ‘Cause I’ll be standing on the side when you check it

out When you get off your trip

Don’t you worry ’bout a thing
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing

Ba ba ba ba ba etc.

Don’t you worry ’bout a thing
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing, Mama ‘Cause I’ll be standing on the side when you check it

out When you get off your trip

Everybody needs a change
A chance to check out the new
You’re the only one who see
The changes you take yourself through

Don’t you worry ’bout a thing
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing, Mama
‘Cause I’ll be standin’ in the side when you check it out

Don’t you worry ’bout a thing
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing

When The Roses Bloom Again

They were strolling in the gloaming Though the roses were in bloom,
A soldier and his sweetheart brave and true And their hearts were filled with sorrow
As their thoughts were of tomorrow,
As she pinned a rose upon his coat of blue.

Do not ask me, Love, to linger
For you know not what to say,
For Duty calls your Sweetheart’s name again And your heart need not be sighing
If I be among the dying
I’ll be with you when the Roses bloom again.

When the Roses Bloom again beside the River And the mockingbird has sung his sweet refrain In the Days of Auld Lang Syne
I’ll be with you Sweetheart mine I’ll be with you when the Roses bloom again.

With the rattle of the battle
Came a whisper soft and low,
A soldier who had fallen in the fray;
I am dying, I am dying and I know I have to go But I want to tell you before I pass away

There’s a far and distant river
When the Roses are in bloom
A sweetheart who is waiting there for me. And its there I pray you take me
I’ve been faithful don’t forsake me
I’ll be with her when the roses bloom again!
